MedNorth Health Center, (formerly New Hanover Community Health Center) was incorporated as a non-profit organization in the State of North Carolina in 1993, and holds a 501(c) (3) Internal Revenue Service Classification. Our target population is individuals and families at or below 200% of the federal poverty level. Our medical care charges for this population are based on a sliding fee scale that takes into consideration the number of persons in the family and their total income. Our services are designed to cover prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric life cycles including dentistry and behavioral health. Patients can receive services at MedNorth Health Center regardless of the individuals or families ability to pay. We accept Medicaid and Medicare patients, and provide primary health care to anyone that comes to us for care.
